Trois et Moi With Angela Galvez

A new styling series featuring one PT bag worn three ways

We believe the best bags live with you. They’re not saved for special occasions. They’re not “going out” bags or “I use this once a year” bags or “I wonder where I put that bag” bags. The best bags are carried every day— from Friday night dinners to Saturday errands to Monday morning commutes—becoming an extension of you. They move through your life as easily as you do.

It was this belief that led us to launch our latest series: Trois et Moi. For each installment we’ll ask someone whose style we admire (that’s the moi part) to take one Parker Thatch bag and show us three different ways they wear it (that’s the trois part).

For our first installment, we chose Angela Galvez. Angela began her career in fashion PR and spent over a decade working in the industry. Today she runs her own styling business in San Francisco, consults for fashion and retail tech startups and writes on Substack. She describes her style as “modern, classic, playful—and a little eclectic.” In other words, the perfect person to kick off our new series.

here) around our Medium Jack bag. “It’s the perfect everyday bag for my life,” she explains. “I wanted something that could hold my essentials without weighing me down. I like to carry a bag that feels effortless but still polished

She also—very graciously—let us have a peek inside it to see what she carries with her. “I have a small leather pouch to keep things from getting out of hand,” she explained. “Inside it has at least five lip products on any given day (Fara Homidi lip pencilViolette FR Bisou BalmVictoria Beckham lip balm, my Officine Universelle Bully monogrammed balm, and Eadem Le Chou Chou), Celisse nail and cuticle serum (a ride-or-die), Crown Affair mini brush, and True Botanicals hand cream. I’m just a girl.” A girl after our own heart, we say.

ANGELA’S STYLE TIPS:

Expect the unexpected

Add in a surprising element—like swingy fringe layered over jeans—to instantly give a classic look a playful twist.

Use building blocks

Elevate a basic pair of black leggings with color blocking. Since you’re starting from a neutral base, you can play with creative combinations like warm tones of camel, cream, chartreuse and burgundy.

Keep it in the family

Pattern mixing feels cohesive when you stay within the same color family and anchor the look in something simple, like a laid-back, effortlessly chic bag :)
