Irene's Picks

As we are spending most of our days at home.. I truly think we should treat our outdoor space as another room! Found these great striped chairs and ottoman that are easy and so comfortable! Love this umbrella! These placemats are perfect for dining and I love our salt and pepper shakers!

We may have to stay home but what I am wearing around the house are not my sweats! I believe we need to keep moving in clothes that are comfortable and easy yet like @mlrhershey just told me what her grand grandmother would say.. clothes that are fit for visitors NOT for bed! LOVE that!
Everyone has been asking about the green number I had on last week.. you can grab it here from Zara, loving the Johanna Ortiz x H&M Collaboration, always love spell and the prints from Double J. Love this one from Ulla Johnson (she makes the best dresses).
I am avid collector of PJ dressing pieces.. love to break them up or as an unit they are super chic for black tie! Now I can wear them at home. My favorite is Restless Sleepers, love the pants here. I also love the PJ sets from Olivia von Halle. Jcrew always have some great bottoms and tops. The Silk Twill are great for home. Pair it up with your favorite stubbs or beautiful heels for a night out! xo
I love oils for my skin and hair. The talented toni koko (founder of NYX) shared her secret for thick full hair. I mixed the concoction the other day and have been loving it!
*Please be aware if you have any allergies to these ingredients. We are just sharing this because we love how it makes our hair feel.
3 parts castor oil, 1 part carrier (coconut is my favorite) drops of lavender oil, lemongrass oil, and argan oil. I mixed the oils in a squirt bottle. Shake and massage it slowly into your scalp. I have been doing this prior to my workout because I know it will be in for about an hour. In the short time I have used it I have noticed softer and fuller hair. Good Luck!
For my body.. I have been using this for over 20 years! It is inexpensive and a great mix of pure peanut, olive, and lanolin oils!
Again- please keep in mind any allergies to these oils or ingredients!
I have really streamlined my beauty regiment lately. I would describe it as simple yet powerful. I start with a Tea Tree face wash from Trader Joes or the rice polish foaming enzyme powder from Tatcha. Then clean with the Solution from Glossier. AM and PM I use eye cream from Cle de Peau the rich cream from Augustinus Bader ... don't forget your sunscreen in AM At night while watching my shows I use my Facial Massager from Joanna Czech. I just bought the Microneedling Tool from BeautyBio.
Clean Straight Leg is what I am LOVING
I am loving a lean, straight leg jean this fall. I am usually one for a messy hem at the bottom but this fall I am opting for a clean hem. I have been trying on jeans for the last couple of months. Found some gems.. I am wearing the Rag and Bone high rise today and they are terrific. I adore Gucci Westman's style and she is also in Rag and Bone (pictured above). I also ordered the bootcut from Zara. Loving the Rag and Bone fit so much I am looking into purchasing a pair in black. The wash on these Frame jeans are great for the weekend or paired with a Scottish fisherman sweater.
I am loving a messy blunt bob this year.. It is the truly #eastandelegance. I am sharing some hair products that help maintaining this look in 2 seconds! I get out of the shower.. mix this olaplex oil and old school leonor greyl to smooth it out. I also love to finish with this oribe spray (I carry it with me they have a small little guy you can keep in your bag).
This year is all about thin and minimal
Summer is here and this year I am loving the thin minimal look. Every summer I always get a new pair of K Jacques they are sturdy and always go with everything. The sandal of this summer are the slingbacks from The Row. These strappy numbers from Zara, Reformation, COS, and Ancient Greek Sandals, Net A Porter are great for everyday.

jeans are a staple in my closet
Jeans are a staple in my closet. I love a slightly frayed, perfectly cropped jean. Just ordered these high waisted straight leg in all three colors. These Frame straight leg also fit perfectly. Adore these Anine Bing faded jeans (I always love how her jeans hang with a bit of attitude). Another one of my goto brands is Agolde. I have been collecting vintage levis for years (501s,550s). These re/done levis are pretty perfect.
